Bolts and bushes
All major pivot points are equipped with replaceable bushings. If they show signs of wear,
replace them. All bushings are available from Spearheads spares.
Storage
Before the machine is placed for storage, it should be thoroughly washed. Remove all
traces of grass and dirt. Be careful never using, high pressure hoses close to the
paintwork. Steam's used with great caution. Remove all cleaners product to avoid
staining or damaging the paint. All greasepoint greased until fresh grease comes out.
Rotor drive belts should be relaxed (if fitted). It is important to keep the machine
covered, so it's protected from rain and sunlight. It should be placed on a flat surface.
Joystick and electric box wrapped in plastic and sealed with tape so they are kept dry,
or removed.
Remember regular maintenance greatly extends the life of the machine.
Attention!
Never use grease that contains molybdæn disulfide on
nylonbushes.

Before you do attempt to repair, maintenance or adjust
your machine, check that the rotor is stopped and the
ignition key removed, the PTO is disengaged, the hand
brake on and the head is safely on the ground.
