Scrupulously follow the indications given in this instruction leaflet. The devices that are described must
only be used in compliance with these instructions, with the described configurations and specified use.
An incorrect and non-conforming use with respect to the instructions could cause a serious hazard.

The user must fully understand the instructions and follow them at all times: before using the product,
the user must decide whether it is suitable for the planned use.

The instructions must always be kept with the product. Ensure they are well conserved and available for users.

Breathing devices must only be used by expert, trained staff under the supervision and responsibility of
people who are perfectly aware of the application limitations to the equipment and of the laws in force
in the country where the equipment is used.

Maintenance and any repairs to the device must only be carried out by expert, trained staff. SPASCIANI
S.p.A. accepts no liability for damage caused further to an incorrect or inappropriate use of the PPE, or
due to maintenance or repairs that are not carried out on the premises of SPASCIANI S.p.A. or their
expressly authorized service centres.

Only use original SPASCIANI S.p.A. components and accessories for the maintenance work.

Do not use any devices which show signs of damage, defects or being incomplete when they are to be
used. Do not make any alterations to the device.
ATTENTION!
All the indications contained in a box with the Ex logo shown on the side refer to explosion risk and
indicate those assemblies produced by SPASCIANI S.p.A. suitable to work in the presence of potentially
explosive atmospheres (check if the "Ex" symbol is present on the device marking). Failure to comply
with the prescribed regulations can lead to serious risks to personal health and damage to property
near the equipment described in this manual.

1.
DESCRIPTION
Spasciani M 900 emergency respirators offer protection in case of leaks from contaminated atmospheres of
chemical substances for at least 15 minutes. They are only to be used once and disposed of after use.
Emergency respirators should only be used for self-preservation in case of leaks, and not in normal working
conditions and not for more than 15 minutes at a time. They are available in just one size.
The M 900 respirators are formed of:
•
Plastic container with a clip to fix onto a belt or jacket pocket. The container is sealed, and the protection
seal on the packaging guarantees it has never been opened.
•
Moulded anatomical silicone half-mask, with a specific plug-in connection to house the filter.
•
Exhalation valve protected by a cover (for the M 900 ABEK P 15 model only).
•
Silicone harness with a 2-point connection, with fast adjustment buckles
