APPLICATION
The SpanSet suspension trauma relief straps,
when used in conjunction with a full body
harness, are designed to aid in the prevention
of suspension trauma after a fall from height
has occurred.
WHERE TO INSTALL
The suspension trauma straps should be
installed at the junction of the shoulder strap
and leg strap of the full body harness as below.
HOW TO INSTALL
Lay the exposed loop from the trauma strap
pouch under the harness webbing.
Button pouch around harness Webbing,
ensuring the press stud is below the ‘choke’.
Repeat the process for the other side of the
harness, ensuring one pouch is marked “Hook”
and the other pouch is marked “Loop”.
‘Choke’ the pouch around the webbing and
through the loop.
USE
Locate, unzip and deploy each case containing
the suspension relief straps.
Step onto the strap to relieve the pressure on the
legs and groin. Repeat step two and three if the
length is not suitable.
Raise the ends of the two straps to reach the hook
and loops. Fit the hook though the loop that will
give you the required length and lower the straps.
