(1) Press the (MENU) button on the Panel or
on the Remote Control to enter the Main
Menu and press the ( ) button on the
Remote Control or (-VOL+) on the panel
to select the “ENHANCE” settings.
(2) Press the (OK) button to enter “EN-
HANCE” settings.
(3) Press the ( ) button on the Remote
Control or (-PROG+) on the panel to
select the “CC MODE” option.
(4) Press the ( ) button on the Remote
Control or (-VOL+) on the panel to turn
the Close Caption mode on. Setting
modes such as C1, C2, C3, C4, Text1,
Text2, Text3 and Text4 are available.

Most TV programs and movies shown on TV
in the USA are broadcast with a rating signal
based on a rating standard system.
To rate television programs, there is the U.S.
Television Parental Guidelines. To rate mov-
ies, including those shown on TV (movie
rating), there is Motion Picture Association
of America (MPAA).
If you would like to block images you think
are not suitable for your children, you will
need to set the LCD TV for the desired rat-
ing system. The Parental Control feature
functions by interpreting the rating signal
sent by your local cable service provider or
broadcasting station.
