Grease lateral supports of the rotor. Before greasing, clean the grease nipple correctly
for better lubrication. The lateral support of the right is at sight, the left one is covered by
the cover itself. To be able to grease this last one, you will find a hole in the back part of
the cover. Use lithium-based grease with NLGI grade of 2.

Clean the implement from residues of cut material
EVERY 20 WORKING HOURS

It’s recommended to grease the PTO shaft in the evening after work, because having
just worked the internal components of the cardan are at a temperature that allows
optimal greasing.

Check belt tension by measuring belt tightness. Correct tightness results when belt
deflection along the front side of the same, as a result of the pressure applied with the
index finger to the centre of the belt length, is about 1 cm (see fig. 2).

In case a belt adjustment is needed, proceed as follows (see fig. 3)

Remove the belt cover

Loosen the 4 side nuts “A” supporting the gearbox.

Loosen the 2 upper nuts “B” supporting the gearbox.

Rotate the 2 lower nuts “C” supporting the gearbox counterclockwise, so as to raise the
support and as a consequence the gearbox until the correct tensioning of the belts has
been reached.

Make sure that the maximum flexibility of each belt is not over 1 cm when tested with
one’s finger.

Tighten nut “A” and nut “B”
