Press the MODE button once to switch to the Non-Contact Voltage (NCV)
Detector mode. The Voltage Test Mode “V” indicator will turn off and the
NCV mode indicator will turn on. Also, in the NCV mode, the NCV indicator
LED will illuminate green and flash periodically.
Press the MODE button once again to switch to the Continuity Test mode.
The Continuity Mode indicator will be displayed.
LCD Display in NCV Mode
WARNING:
Observe all safety precautions when working on live voltages.
1. Press and hold the POWER button to turn the voltage tester on. The LCD
test mode. The voltage symbol “V” will be displayed in the lower left corner
of the LCD display.
2. Insert the black test lead into the
COM
input jack and the red test lead into
the V (Voltage) input jack.
3. Touch the test lead probes in parallel to the circuit under test.
4. For AC voltage, the AC Voltage indicator will be displayed.
5. Read the voltage from the LCD display
