CALIBRATION
Use a good digital voltmeter connected to battery terminals of the EZ-WIRE to verify calibration as follows:
*The battery volts should be /- .1volts of your digital voltmeter.
*Turn off all charging sources and loads for 12 hours.
The Volts/Cell reading should be within .02 volts of your digital voltmeter reading divided by the number of cells in
your battery. (a 12v battery has 6 cells, etc.)
*The setting of the regulator Float Voltage switch should be within .02volts of your digital voltmeter reading divided by
the number of cells at the highest voltage seen just before the red light comes on.
CALIBRATION PROCEDURE
a. Read the voltage between pins 9 and 10 of the meter connector J1. Adjust pot R16B to read .001 times the battery
voltage.
b. Adjust the potentiometer on the corner of the meter driver to read the correct battery voltage on the display.
c. Set the Float Voltage Selector to 2.4 volts/cell and charge the battery to this voltage (e.g., 28.8 volts for a 24v bat-
tery). Set Pot R48B (regulator section) so the regulator just comes on.
d.) Allow the battery to rest for 12 hours with the display switch off and all load and charging sources off. Set Pot R14B
so the V/C (times the number of cells in your battery) equals your battery voltage.
CALIBRACIÓN
Use un buen voltímetro digital conectado a los
terminales de batería del EZ-WIRE para verificar
l a
calibración, de la siguiente manera:
* El voltaje de batería debe estar entre m 0,1 voltios en su voltímetro digital.
* Apague todas las fuentes de consumo y cargas durante 12 horas. La lectura Voltaje/Celda (Volts/Cell) debe estar entre
0,02 voltios su voltímetro digital, dividido por el número de celdas en su batería. (una batería de 12 V tiene 6 celdas,
etc.)
* El punto de referencia del selector del voltaje de flotación, en el regulador, debe estar entre 0,02 voltios en la lectura
del voltímetro digital, dividido por el número de celdas de la batería, al nivel mas alto de voltaje registrado antes de que
la luz roja se encienda.
PROCEDIMIENTO DE CALIBRACIÓN
a. Lea el voltaje entre los pines 9 y 10 del conector J1. Ajuste el
Potenciómetro R16B
para que de 0,001 del voltaje de
la batería.
b.
Ajuste el potenciómetro ubicado en la esquina del medidor
para leer el voltaje correcto en la Pantalla o Monitor.
c. Coloque el selector de Voltaje de Flotación en 2,4 voltios/celda (volts/cells) y cargue la batería a este voltaje (eg. 28,8
voltios para una batería de 24 v). Coloque el Potenciómetro R48B (sección de regulador) de tal manera que el regu-
lador apenas se encienda.
d. Permita que la batería descanse durante 12 horas con el interruptor de la Pantalla apagado (off) y todas las cargas y
fuentes de consumo desconectadas (off). Coloque el Potenciómetro R14B de tal manera que el Voltaje dividido por el
número de Celdas (V/C) sea igual al voltaje de su batería.
