12. WIND GENERATOR ELECTRICAL
TESTS
Complete these tests before mounting blades to rotor.
These tests confirm that the wind generator is functional
and ready to install on the tower.
12. PRUEBAS ELECTRICAS PARA EL
AEROGENERADOR
Release estas pruebas antes de montar las Aspas en el rotor.
Estas pruebas confirman que el Aerogenerador esté
funcionando correctamente y listo para ser instalado en la
torre.
GROUND/TIERRA OPEN CIRCUIT/CIRCUITO ABIERTO
When the wires are open
the wind generator rotor
should spin freely.
Cuando los cables están
en circuito abierto el ge-
nerador debe girar libre-
mente.
When the wires are
shorted together the
generator rotor should
turn hard and smooth.
Cuando los cables están
en corto el generador
debe ofrecer resistencia,
y girar suavemente.
Check resistance to
ground on any wire.
Resistance must
exceed 10,000 ohms.
Revise la resistencia a
tierra con cualquier
cable. La resistencia
debe exceder 10,000
ohmios.
WIRE SIZES
:
WHISPER 175 MAST TOP TO EZ-WIRE OR TRANSFORMER
Use one even size larger for Aluminum wire.
