Electrical maintenance
The operator may carry out the following operations only:
z
resetting a thermal-magnetic circuit-breaker (if fitted); proceed as follows:
- u n p lu g th e m a ch in e fro m th e p o w e r so ck e t;
- s e t th e m a in sw itch ref. 4 Photo 2 to p o s itio n 0 ;
- u sin g th e ke y su p p lie d w ith th e m a ch in e , o p e n th e d o o r o f th e e le c trica l
p a n e l;
- id e n tify th e th e rm a l-m a g n e tic circu it-b re a k e r (n o rm a lly lo c a te d a t th e to p o f
th e e le ctrica l e n c lo su re ); th is co m p o n e n t ca n b e d istin g u ish e d b e ca u se it
m o u n ts tw o p u sh -b u tto n s, o n e re d (O ) a n d o n e b la c k (I).

N.B.: In the case of a thermal relay, wait for the time necessary until the
device performs a self-reset (between 10 seconds and 60 seconds).

To change a fuse, proceed as follows:

- lo ca te th e fu se h o ld e r (s e e e le ctrica l se c tio n 4.8);
- u n scre w th e p lu g ;
- re m o ve th e fu se ;
- re p la ce it w ith a fu se w ith th e sa m e a m p ra tin g ;
- c lo se th e p lu g ;
- c lo se th e d o o r o f th e e le ctric a l p a n e l w ith th e ke y su p p lie d .
Caution
All electrical maintenance operations to the machine (including
machine motor/s) must be performed by qualified electricians pos-
sessing all relevant information regarding technological and esta-
blished standards required to carry out the said operations correctly.
Caution!
Never alter the trip set-point of thermal-magnetic circuit breakers.
