1-12-2. Replacing the DI-44 Board and the
DR-524 Board
1. Remove the rear assembly. (Refer to Section 1-4-2.)
2. When replacing the DI-44 board, remove the two
screws to remove the board.
When replacing the DR-524 board, disconnect the
flexible card wire from the connector CN5 on the
board. Then remove the two screws to remove the DR-
524 board.

Be careful not to bend the flexible card wires. This
shortens the wire life.
3. Install the new DI-44 board and the DR-524 board in
the reverse order of removal.

Reattach the rear assembly after connecting the DI-44
board and the DR-524 board to the MB-1003 board.
1-12-3. Replacing the SW-1183 Board
1. Remove the top cover. (Refer to Section 1-4-1.)
2. Remove the PS assembly.
(Refer to steps 2 and 3 in Section 1-9-1.)
3. Disconnect the harness from the connector CN201 and
flexible card wires from the connectors CN202 and
CN205 on the SW-1183 board.

Be careful not to bend the flexible card wires. This
shortens the wire life.
4. Remove the three screws, and remove the SW-1183
board.
5. Remove the MIC setting sheet from the SW-1183
board.
6. Install a new SW-1183 board in the reverse order of
removal.
