Enjoying stereo or
bilingual
programs

You can enjoy stereo sound or bilingual
programs of Multichannel TV Sound
(MTS) system.

Press MTS repeatedly until
you receive the sound you
want.

When receiving a stereo program, the indication changes as
follows:

Broadcasting

On-screen display (Selected sound)

MTS stereo

Select

“Stereo”

listen to a stereo sound.

“SAP”

listen to a bilingual broadcast.

“Mono”

receive a monaural sound.

Notes

• If no SAP signal is present when SAP is selected, the sound is heard as in

stereo mode .

• If the stereo signal is very weak, the stereo broadcast sound may become

noisy. To reduce the noise, select “Mono”.
