Changing the Video Memory Size

The video memory for this notebook computer uses a part of the main 
memory. You can select the size, 2 MB/4 MB/8 MB, the default setting is 
4 MB. Select 4 MB when using features such as dual display mode and 8 MB 
for higher resolution and better color, when playing 3D games.

1.

Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel. The Control Panel 
appears.

2.

Double-click the Display icon. The Display Properties window appears.

3.

Click the Settings tab.

4.

Click the Advanced button. The Trident CyberBlade i7 AGP Properties 
window appears.

5.

Click the Memory tab.

6.

Select the video memory size that you want to set. Click OK.

7.

When the Warning Message appears, Click OK to restart the computer.

If you set the video memory to 2 MB, more memory can be assigned to the main 
memory; however, this setting limits the resolution and the number of colors.
