Connecting a Floppy Disk Drive

To remove a floppy disk

❑

When you finish using the floppy disk, wait until the LED indicator light
turns off, and then press the Eject button to remove the disk.

To remove the floppy disk drive when the computer is on

Close all applications that use the floppy disk drive; otherwise, data may be
lost.

Double-click the

Safely Remove Hardware icon on the taskbar. The

Safely Remove Hardware window appears.

Select an option in the Hardware devices box, and click Stop. The Stop a
Hardware device window appears.

Click OK to confirm your selection, and then click Close.

Unplug the floppy disk drive from the computer.
