Connecting to
Camcorders and
Recorders
Data that is copied onto the HDD cartridge
installed in the unit can be played back on
camcorders and recorders.
The camcorder or recorder will only read
data from the unit. Therefore, operations
such as editing or dividing clips and adding
metadata are disabled.
If external devices are connected to output
connectors on the camcorder or recorder,
clips that are stored on this unit can also be
output on the external devices.
During playback on a camcorder or
recorder, you can play back all data that was
copied on the same date and time. Before
connecting the unit to the camcorder or
recorder, you must select the date and time
at which the data you want to playback was
copied.
Note
You cannot perform playback on a PMW-EX1,
PMW-EX3, or PMW-EX30 if only one partition
is configured for the HDD cartridge. Be sure to
configure three partitions.
