Meaning
There is no recording on the disc.
The inserted disc is not a Picture MD.
The inserted disc is damaged or does
not include recording/editing data.
There is no space left on the inserted

Countermeasure
Use another disc.
Use a formatted Picture MD or audio
MiniDisc.
Eject and reinsert the disc. If the
problem persists, use another disc.
Replace the disc with another.
“DISC FULL” may appear even when
the DISC bar on the OPTION screen
indicates a sufficient capacity remain-
ing on the MD. This means there are
many unrecorded fragments on the
MD that are too small to be used for
recording, due to repeated recording/
erasing cycles. Use another MD.
Press the EXEC/ROTATE key to record
the edited orders on the disc. (page 22)
Operate the unit again.
Eject and reinsert the disc. If the
problem persists, replace with
another disc.
Recharge the battery or replace it with
another one.
Insert a disc.
Insert a disc on which pictures are
recorded.
Erase unnecessary orders and perform
writing operation again.
Remove the disc, slide the safety tab
and re-insert.
