You cannot perform some
functions such as Stop, Lock
Search, Slow-motion Play, Repeat
Play, Shuffle Play, or Program Play.

Depending on the disc, you may
not be able to do some of the
operations above. Refer to the
operating instructions supplied
with the disc.
The DATA CD/DVD (MP3 audio file/
JPEG image file/video file) cannot
be played back.
ˎ ˎ
The data is not stored in the
supported format.
ˎ ˎ
The system can play back to a
depth of 8 folders only.
ˎ ˎ
The disc contains more than
300 folders.
ˎ ˎ
The JPEG image file is larger
than 3,072 (width) × 2,048
(height) pixels in normal mode,
or more than 3,300,000 pixels
in progressive JPEG mode which
is mainly used on the Internet
websites.
ˎ ˎ
JPEG image files and video files
with a high width to length ratio
cannot be played back.
ˎ ˎ
The video files are larger than 720
(width) × 576 (height) pixels.
ˎ ˎ
Make sure you have selected
the correct Media Mode before
playback.
The folder name, track name, file
name and ID3 tag characters do
not appear properly.
ˎ ˎ
The ID3 version is not in Version 1
(1.0/1.1) or Version 2 (2.2/2.3).
ˎ ˎ
The character codes that can be
displayed by this system are as
follows:

Upper cases (A to Z)
ˎ ˋ
Numbers (0 to 9)
ˎ ˋ
Symbols (< > * +, [ ] \ _)
Other characters appear as “_”.
The sound loses stereo effect
when you play back an AUDIO CD,
VIDEO CD, audio file, video file, or
DVD VIDEO.
ˎ ˎ
Unplug all the microphones or
hold down SHIFT, then press
KARAOKE MODE repeatedly until
“ ” disappears from the display.
ˎ ˎ
Make sure the system is
connected properly.
USB device
Transferring results in an error.
ˎ ˎ
You are using an unsupported USB
device. Check the information on
the website about compatible USB
devices (page 10).
ˎ ˎ
The USB device is not formatted
correctly. Refer to the operating
instructions of the USB device on
how to format.
ˎ ˎ
Turn off the system and remove
the USB device. If the USB device
has a power switch, turn the USB
device off and on again after
removing it from the system. Then,
perform the transfer again.
ˎ ˎ
If the transfer and erase
operations are repeated multiple
times, the file structure within the
USB device becomes fragmented.
Refer to the operating instructions
supplied with the USB device on
how to deal with this problem.
ˎ ˎ
The USB device was disconnected
or the power was turned off
during transfer. Delete the
partially-transferred file, and
perform the transfer again. If this
does not fix the problem, the USB
device may be broken. Refer to the
operating instructions of the USB
device on how to deal with this
problem.
