as preset radio stations are reset to
factory default setting (except for
some setup menu settings).
To reset all setup menu settings, see
“Returning the setup menu settings
to the default” (page 60).

settings to the default
You can return the setup
menu settings (except for
[PARENTAL CONTROL] settings) to
the default settings.

Hold down SHIFT and press
SETUP.
The setup menu appears on the TV
screen.

Press / repeatedly to select
[SYSTEM SETUP], then press
.

Press / repeatedly to select
[RESET], then press

[YES], then press

It takes a few seconds to complete.
Do not press
while resetting the
system.
Self-diagnosis Function
When letters/numbers appear
on the TV screen or the display
When the self-diagnosis function
is activated to prevent the system
from malfunctioning, a service
number appears. The service
number consists of an alphabet
and numerals (e.g. C 13 50). See the
following table for the cause and
corrective action.
