Cautions when an error appears in a HDD

Treat this unit conform to the above cautions, even when an error appeared.

Keep the unit in the condition in which the error appeared, and record the details of the error.
3-2. Removing the Cabinet
When removing the cabinet, stop reproduction and turn off the power switches A and B. Then, unplug the
power cord from the AC inlet and wait for about 30 seconds until the HDD stops rotating.
Tighten the screws using the following standard tightening torque.

M3.0 0.7 to 1.0 N

3-2-1. Removing the Front Panel
1. Fully loosen the two screws (with stopper), then re-
move the front panel.

Take great care not to give any vibration and impact to
HDD while removing the top plate assembly.
2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Tightening torque: 0.8 N
