Text
Most TV channels provide a Text service. Please ensure you are receiving a good signal or some
Text errors may occur.
Viewing Text
How to use Text features
1.
Select the TV channel which carries the Text service you want to view.
2.
Press the
button on the remote control to enter Picture and Text (P&T) mode. The
screen is divided in two with the Text display on the left and the TV channel in the right
corner.
Note:
In P&T mode press the
button followed by
PROG+/-
to change the channel of the TV
screen. Press the
button again to resume normal text reception.
Press the
button a second time to enter full screen Text mode.
Press the
button a third time to enter Mix mode.

Press the numbered buttons on the remote control to enter the three digits of the page
number you wish to view. Alternatively, press the
or
buttons to view the previous or
next page. After a short time the page appears on screen.
4.
Enter more 3 digit page numbers as required.
5.
Press the
button on the remote control at any time to exit Text mode.
Feature
How to use
Sub-page
Some pages contain sub-pages which follow on
automatically. This feature allows you to directly access
the required sub-page.
Press the
B
or
b
buttons to select the required sub-page.
Hold
This feature allows you to hold the current page until you
are ready to proceed.
Press the
/
button to hold the page currently being
displayed. Press again to cancel.
Fastext
Fastext allows you to access pages quickly and easily.
When Fastext is available, four coloured items appear at
the bottom of the screen.
Press the corresponding coloured button on the remote
control to access the required page.
Page Catching
This feature allows you to jump quickly from one page to
another.
When viewing a page that contains several page
numbers (e.g. the index page), press the
OK
button.
Press the
V
or
v
buttons to highlight the page number
required. Press the
OK
button to confirm. Your chosen
page appears on the TV screen.
