Transmitting with
External Equipment
— PTZ control I/F Menu
When you click
in the Administrator
menu, the PTZ control I/F menu is displayed.
Using this menu, you can input data into the camera
from the computer via a network and output them to the
external serial interface to control a peripheral device.
You can also input data from a peripheral device via an
external serial interface and output them to the computer
via a network.
Serial setting
Set the peripheral serial interface.
Standard
Select RS-232C, RS-485 or RS-422.
Termination
Select
On
if you want to terminate it. It will become
active if you select RS-485 or RS-422.
Mode
Select the operation method: to use data transmission/
reception via Network (TCP) port or external devices
connected to this unit for serial-connected peripherals.
Select
Normal
when not using TCP.
[Normal]:
Operate this unit with the peripherals
connected to this unit. When
Normal
is selected, you
can enter the Camera ID and protocol used for the
operation.
Camera ID
Specify the Camera ID of this unit.
Protocol
[VISCA]: Operate this unit with VISCA protocol.
[Pelco-D]: Operate this unit with Pelco-D protocol.
