RESETTING THE SYSTEM

Press HOME.
The home menu appears on the TV
screen.

Select
[Setup] - [Advanced
Settings] on the home menu.

Select [Resetting].

Select the menu item you want to
reset.

Select [Start].
To cancel resetting
Select [Cancel] in step 5.
Press and hold
Æ
(power) and –
(volume) on the main unit for more
than 5 seconds.
The settings return to their initial
status.
If You Cannot Perform

Note:
By perform resetting, the link with the subwoofer may be lost. In
this case, refer to “WIRELESS CONNECTION (LINK) WORK OF
BAR SPEAKER AND SUBWOOFER” on page 6.
ADVANCE CONFIRMATION WHEN SOUND IS NOT
OUTPUTTED, OR WHEN THE SUBWOOFER IS NOT
LINKED
If in the symptoms such as not sound outputted of ARC, or the
subwoofer is not linked, be sure to refer to the TROUBLESHOOT-
ING below before repairing.
When the sound is not outputted of ARC:
Refer to “The sound is not outputted of ARC” on the TROUBLE-
SHOOTING (page 34).
When the subwoofer is not linked:
Refer to “The subwoofer is not linked” on the TROUBLESHOOT-
ING (page 35).
NOTE OF REPLACING THE SK1 TOUCH, SK1 LED,
SK1 IR REP (1) OR SK1 IR REP (2) BOARDS FOR
REPAIRING
When the SK1 TOUCH, SK1 LED, SK1 IR REP (1) or SK1 IR
REP (2) boards are defective, replace the complete mounted board
or the whole parts including the applicable board.
The mounted parts cannot be replaced with single for repairing.
NOTE OF REPLACING THE MAIN BOARD FOR RE-
PAIRING
When the MAIN board is defective, replace the complete mounted
board.
The mounted parts cannot be replaced with single for repairing.
Block diagram and printed wiring board are described for refer-
ence purposes in this service manual.
Also, after replacing the MAIN board please refer to “SERIAL
NUMBER WRITING WORK WHEN MAIN BOARD RE-
PLACED” on page 5.
NOTE OF REPLACING THE ELECTRICAL PARTS ON
EACH BOARDS FOR REPAIRING
Among mounted electrical parts on each boards, only parts that
are described in the electrical parts list can be replaced for repair.
The parts that are not described in the electrical parts list cannot be
replaced with single for repairing.
SPREADING OF COMPOUND
When the IC6006 on the SK1 AMP board or the SK1 AMP board
is replaced, spread the compound to the touching portion between
the IC6006 and the heat sink.

MALFUNCTION PREVENTION OF THE BUTTON (TOUCH
PANEL SWITCH)
When the button portion on the top side of the main unit are
touched with something such as the
fl
oor surface, there is a pos-
sibility of occurring the malfunction.
When performing the operation check in the state that the top side
on this unit is under, set the stand etc. to the position that avoids the
button portion as shown in the
fi
gure below, perform in the state
that the button portion does not touch anything.
