LCD SYSTEM ADJUSTMENT
Note 1:
The back light (fluorescent tube) is driven by a high voltage AC
power supply. Therefore, do not touch the back light holder to
avoid electrical shock.
Note 2:
When replacing the LCD unit, be careful to prevent damages
caused by static electricity.
Note 3:
Set the LCD BRIGHT to the center.
Set the LCD COLOR (Menu display) to the center.
Note 4:
PD-123 board: DCR-TRV11/TRV11E/TRV20
PD-124 board: DCR-TRV6/TRV6E/TRV20E
VC-240 board: DCR-TRV20/TRV20E

[Adjusting connector]
Most of the measuring points for adjusting the LCD system are
concentrated in CN009 of the VC-240/241 board.
Connect the Measuring Instruments via the CPC-8 jig (J-6082-388-
A).
The following table shows the Pin No. and signal name of CN009.

1)
Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 01.
2)
Select page: D, address: A2, change the data and set the VCO
frequency (f) to the specified value.
Note:
The VCO adjustment mode is set up automatically, so the LCD
screen falls into the disorder.
3)
Press the PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander.
4)
Select page: D, address: A3, set the same data as page: D,
address: A2, and press the PAUSE button.
5)
Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 00.
