BRIGHT mode : A=17.0 ± 1.5mVdc
NORMAL mode : A=10.0 ± 1.5mVdc
Note1: Perform the adjustment in the following order.
Adjusting method:
1)
Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 01.
2) Select page: D, address: 9C to 9F, and set the data to the initial
value.
Note: To write in the non-volatile memory (EEPROM), press the
PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander each time
to set the data.
3) Select page: D, address: 9D, change the data and set the voltage
difference (A) between Pin

of CN009 (EVF BL+) and Pin

of CN009 (EVF BL

) to the specified value of BRIGHT
mode.
(The data of address: 9D should be “C0” to “FF”.)
Note:
The backlight consumption current adjustment BRIGHT mode
is set up automatically.
4) Press the PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander.
5) Select page: D, address: 9C, set the same data as page: D,
address: 9D, and press the PAUSE button.
6) Select page: D, address: 9E, change the data and set the voltage
difference (A) between Pin

and Pin
3
to the specified value
of NORMAL mode.
(The data of address: 9E should be “00” to “1F”.)
Note: The backlight consumption current adjustment NORMAL mode
is set up automatically.
7) Press the PAUSE button.
8) Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 00.
5. White Balance Adjustment (VC-240/241 board)
Correct the white balance.
If deviated, the reproduction of the EVF screen may degenerate.

Specified Value The EVF screen should not be colored.
Note:
Check the white balance only when replacing the following parts. If
necessary, adjust them.
1. LCD panel
2. Light induction plate
3. IC1802
Adjusting method:
1)
Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 01.
2) Select page: D, address: 97 and 98, set the data to the initial
value.
Note: To write in the non-volatile memory (EEPROM), press the
PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander each time
to set the data.
3) Check that the EVF screen is not colored. If colored, change
the data of page: D, address: 97 and 98 so that the EVF screen
is not colored.
Note:
To write in the non-volatile memory (EEPROM), press the
PAUSE button of the adjustment remote commander each time
to set the data.
When address: 97 or 98 is selected, the white balance
adjustment mode is set up automatically.
4) Select page: 0, address: 01, and set data: 00.
