Solution:

Please verify following IC140 versions, using Diagnostics Test Mode Menu
(Other Checks). If the

DRVCon

not

updated to latest version, replace

IC140 as per the table below. Be sure to do the auto drive alignments after
the IC140 is replaced.

If the units are being repaired for the dual layer

issue only, then service is done as

in warranty

status. Verify the repair by

testing unit with a commercial Dual Layer DVD.
