Press ENTER/YES to complete the
labeling procedure.
The titles you entered appear
sequentially, then the display returns to
the display in step 1.
To cancel labeling
Press
p
on the MD deck during steps 3 to 8.
Checking the titles
To check the disc titles, press DISC SKIP on
the MD deck (or MD D.SKIP on the remote)
repeatedly while the deck is stopped until the
desired disc number appears.
To check the track titles, turn SELECTOR
while the deck is stopped until the desired
track number appears.
The titles are displayed scrolling in the MD
deck display.
Checking the titles with the
r e m o t e
To check the disc titles, press SCROLL while
the deck is stopped. To check the track titles,
press SCROLL while in play. The titles are
displayed scrolling in the display. To stop
scrolling, press SCROLL. Press the button
again to restart scrolling.
Notes
• You can also display disc and track titles by
pressing DISPLAY, but only the first 10 characters
of disc titles or the first 7 characters of track titles
appear. The remaining characters do not scroll in
the display.
• You can label a track title while playing or
recording, but you must complete the labeling
before the track ends.

Turn SELECTOR until the character
you want appears.
To enter a blank space, press
n
without
turning SELECTOR. You cannot enter a
space as the first character.

to enter the character.
The cursor shifts rightward and waits for
the input of the next character.

Repeat steps 5 to 7 to complete the
entire title.
If you made a mistake, press
N
or
n
until the character you want to change
flashes, then repeat steps 5 to 7. To erase
the character, press MENU/NO. Each
time you press the button, the character
at the position of the cursor is erased.
You cannot insert characters.
