1-4-2. Fan Motor
If the fan stops during normal operation, the indicator on
the front panel blinks in red.
In this case, turn the power off immediately and replace the
fan motor.

Replacement procedures
1.
Turn the power off.
2.
Unplug the appliance from the outlet.
3.
Remove the two screws, and remove the fan cover.
4.
Remove the two screws, and remove the fan motor
with the fan shield.
5.
Disconnect the connector shown in the figure.

6.
Remove the fan shield from the fan motor.
7.
Affix a harness shield over the harness of the new fan
motor.

Harness shield : 3-606-234-01
8.
Thread the harness through the hole on the fan shield,
and attach the fan shield to the fan motor.
9.
Cover the fan motor with the fan cover.
10. Thread the harness through the hole on the rear panel.
11. Connect the connector disconnected in the step 5.
12. Install the fan motor to the rear panel with the four
screws.
13. Turn the power on, and confirm the following items.

The fan rotates properly.

The indicator on the front panel lights in green.
