Perform the periodic inspection as shown in the following table after a certain number of hours since start of use has
elapsed.
Readjust the electromagnetic conversion system to correct the head wear that occures between each periodic inspection,
confirm the DAD characteristics and replace any defective parts.

Tape path section 1. Check the tape path in PLAY mode.

Check if there is strange mechanical noise or not.

Check if creating tape curling at each guide roller and tape guide in HBU or not.

9. Check the function of the tape shifter.
10. Check if there is irregular functional noise when a tape loading or unloading.

System control section 1. Check the WOW.
2. Check the S and T tension/sensor gain and offset.
3. Check the tension of the S and T sides in the STOP mode.
4. Check the back tension adjustment in PLAY mode.
5. Check the EXT speed.
6. Check the EXT phase offset.
7. Check the function of the fan (3 places at power supply and 2 places in the unit).
8. Check the function of the power switch.
