Customizing your CLIÉ™ handheld (Preferences)

Setting the Network preferences for your provider and dial-up server

Tap

next to [Query DNS:] to deselect it.

Enter the IP address for [Primary and Secondary DNS:]
(Domain Naming System).

Ask your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or System Administrator for the
correct Primary or Secondary DNS IP numbers.

If you need to enter your CLIÉ handheld’s IP Address, tap

next to [IP Address:] to display a permanent IP address

field beneath the check box.

Normally, you do not need to enter this IP address. If you are not sure,
select [Automatic] and go to step 9.

Enter your CLIÉ handheld’s IP Address.

Tap [OK].
