Chapter 3 Using the Control Panel
The Configuration Menu consists of the following items.
• Enter Password
Enter the system administrator password to enter the Configuration Menu.
If the administrator password has not been changed from “admin”, password
verification is skipped.
• Network
Change network settings.
• Reboot System
Restart the system.
• Shutdown System
Shutdown the system.
• Display Mode
Set messages to be displayed on the LCD panel. The messages are displayed
when the server is idle.
Enter Password
If a system administrator password has been set, it is required to enter the
Configuration Menu. Once select the Configuration Menu, “Enter Password”
appears.
Notes
• If the default administrator password “admin” has not been changed,
password verification is skipped and “Enter Password” does not appear. (You
don't need to enter the password.)
• The administrator password cannot be set through the control panel.
• For information on how to change the administrator password, refer to
“Setting or Changing the System Administrator Password” (page 14) in
Chapter 2, “Basic Use”.

Press the [MENU] button to display “Configuration”, then press the
[ENTER] button.
“Enter Password?” appears.
