Overview
The BC-M50 Battery Charger is capable of simultaneous,
continuous charging of any two of the following lithium-ion
battery packs BP-L40, BP-L40A, BP-L60A, and BP-L90A and
nickel metal hydride battery packs BP-M50 and BP-M100.
Features
Up to two battery packs can be attached
Up to two battery packs can be attached and charged in order.
For continuous charging of more than two battery packs,
simply detach fully charged one and replace it with discharged
one.
Efficient charging (for lithium-ion battery packs only)
The BC-M50 features a new charging system that allows quick,
efficient charging of two battery packs.

Compact and lightweight
The BC-M50 is compact, lightweight, and easy to carry.
Diagnostics functions
The BC-M50 checks connected battery packs for
abnormalities. An indicator will flash alternately in red and
green if a battery pack cannot be charged normally.
Refresh function (for nickel metal hydride battery
packs BP-M50/M100 only)
If a battery pack with remaining capacity is charged repeatedly,
the storage capacity of the battery may be reduced due to
memory effect (phenomena by which the remaining battery
capacity is memorized). To prevent against this memory
effect, a “refresh function” is provided to fully discharge a
battery pack before charging.
Charge progress indicator (for lithium-ion battery
packs only)
An indicator lights to show when a battery pack is charged less
than 80%, or 80% or greater.
