5 Using the probes

L50 probe for air-borne noise
The L50 probe for air-borne noise serves for general detection of
ultrasound.
The precision of location is increased by mounting the directional tube.
For precise fault location mount the tip onto the directional tube as well.
If the fault cannot be located with the probe mounted directly on the
SONAPHONE M, a special extension cable can be used.
