Troubleshooting the DVD recorder

Symptom Solution
DVD recorder does not
record • Check the serial port setting on the Connectivity setup page.
See the ultrasound system user guide.
• Check the cable connections on the stand and DVD recorder.
See the V-Universal Stand assembly instructions.
• Ensure that the DVD record is turned on and set up properly. See
the DVD recorder manufacturer’s instructions, if necessary.
DVD recorder does not
play back • Check the cable connections on stand and DVD recorder. See
the V-Universal Stand assembly instructions.
• Ensure that the display setting is set to S-video. Follow the
manufacturer’s instructions.
Symptom Solution
Printer does not print. • Check the printer selection on the Connectivity setup page. See
the ultrasound system user guide.
• Check the cable connections. See the V-Universal Stand
assembly instructions.
• Ensure that the printer is turned on and set up properly. See the
printer manufacturer’s instructions, if necessary.
Stand tips over more easily
than expected. • Lower the pole to lower the ultrasound system and optional tray.
• Avoid placing or hanging heavy objects on the stand. Too much
weight can cause the stand to become less stable.
