8 Disposal at end of useful life
Devices that are marked with this symbol should not be disposed of in household waste.
They must be returned to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electro-
technical devices. Information regarding the disposal of old equipment can be obtained
from your municipality, local waste disposal company and the store where you
purchased this device. Proper disposal of old devices prevents environmental damage
and does not jeopardise your health.
Batteries may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment.
Return the batteries to a municipal collection point or have them disposed of by a
specialist company.
