SonicWall Switch Quick Start Guide

2 Launch any terminal emulation application that communicates with the serial port connected to the 

appliance (PuTTY, TeraTerm Pro, SecureCRT, HyperTerminal, etc.) Use these settings:

•

COM port 

•

115200 baud rate

•

8 data bits

•

no parity

•

1 stop bit

•

no flow control

3 Use admin / password to log into the command line interface.

4 Enter 

show ip interface

 and the Switch will respond with the address of the GUI for local 

setup. 

Connect the Switch to your network. For detailed instructions, go to
