USE
The device is ideal for replacing traditional, two wired door phone systems, or doorbells, or for installing as a new system. The appropriate
sound quality and reliable operation is depending on the distance between he units and the cross-section of the used cable. We recom
-
mend exceeding the following distances: between the outdoor unit and the connected indoor unit a maximum of 500 m (in case of 2x1
mm
2
cable), between the two indoor units a maximum 20 m when using traditional phone cable. Fur the outdoor unit usually a 6 or 8 core
UTP cable can be used, from witch 2 cores are for sound transfer, and for operating the electric lock further 2 cores are used. The excess
remaining cores are recommended to be connected in parallel with the wiring used, to increase the actual cross-section. To install the door
phone system make use of professional help!
INSTALLING
Outdoor unit
Must be installed in the wall recessed. The rear protective cover can be removed by removing the screw located on its bottom. Two wires
must be connected to the indoor unit, which does not have mains connection cable.
So this indoor unit (MASTER ROOM STATION) must be placed closer to the outdoor unit than the other indoor unit (SUB ROOM STA
-
TION). Install the outdoor unit in place protected from water and direct sunlight! The narrow side of the name plate can be carefully tilted
open by using a flat headed screwdriver and the desired writing can be placed under the plastic window.
Indoor unit
Before connecting the three units, make sure they are mot under voltage. Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram. Lead them in
such a way so they do not get damaged by weather, and so they are safe from physical effects. The wires need to be installed separately
according to the place and needs described in the “USE” paragraph. Before plugging in the mains plug, check the connection!
GATE OPENER FUNCTION
The electric lock is not part of the package. It needs to be acquired and installed according to the unique needs and the doors/gates shape.
The lock can be opened from both indoor units. If no outer gate opening circuit is used, then the output need of the outer gate opener
should not exceed 12 V / 200 mA!
INTERCOM FUNKCION
The home phone makes it possible for the indoor units to call each other. During the pressing and holding of the call button (10.) the other
indoor unit emits a continuous signal. After lifting the handset, the user can start to speak. When calling from the outdoor unit both indoor
units emit an alternating tone. Both units can accept the call, even simultaneously.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If there is no sound, make sure, that:
- the connection has been done as prescribed
- there is mains supply voltage
- one of the cables are not damaged
If the sound of the discussion is low, make sure that:
- a cable with sufficiently big cross-section has been used
- the recommended distances have not been overstepped
CLEANING
Before cleaning disconnect the device from the mains, by unplugging it form it! Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use aggressive clean
