APPLICATION
The two-way multimedia sound box with active bass-reflex is primarily recommended for hobby, house party use. The sound box is compact, portable
and fitted with rollers. Its built-in battery allows it to be operated without mains power. Can be directly connected with external devices such as: mobile
phones, PC, CD/DVD player, musical instruments, microphone… In addition to the loudspeakers, the device also includes an amplifier and a multimedia
player with FM/BT/USB compatibility. The mains charger is supplied as an accessory. The tablet or mobile phone used for playing music can be inserted
into the recess on top of the device.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
The battery must be charged before first use. Connect the included charger - and only the original one - to the sound box (
DC INPUT
), then connect it
to the mains power outlet and leave the device turned off. When charging is active, the
CHARGE LED
by the charger socket is lit in red continuously.
When automatic charging is finished, the LED light turns blue. Disconnect the charger from the sound box and the mains outlet and start using the
device. The charging time for a fully discharged battery is approximately 6 hours. This provides approximately 13 hours of continuous operation from the
built-in battery at medium volume. This will depend on the volume setting, the selected operation mode and ambient temperature. Tests were performed
with radio playing at room temperature with LED lights off.
● In general, it is not recommended to charge the device while it is in use. This lengthens charging time and may cause excess noise and
overheating. Charging while in use may also deteriorate the quality of radio reception.
● When the battery is running low, sound quality may deteriorate. A "LOW BATTERY" voice announcement warns that the battery is depleted.
Connect the charger.
● When finished with charging or use, turn off the device using the
button on top of the sound box, then disconnect it from the mains socket.
● This equipment is designed to operate with battery power, recharging after use is recommended.
● When the unit is switched off, the automatic battery charger will function. Therefore, disconnect the charger from the wall socket, when charging
is finished.
● For longer battery life, keep the battery charged even when not in use!
● The battery used is of the lithium-ion type. It does not require maintenance. At the end of its life, it can be replaced by a professional after removing
the control panel. The cover is secured by screws.
COMMISSIONING
Make all connections with the system while power supply is disconnected! Make sure that both the sound box and the devices to be connected are switched off. Make
sure that the connections and polarity of the connectors are as specified. Keep the microphone cable and the audio connection cable away from the mains cable.
Switch on the device with pressing and holding down the
button on the control panel. Switch off the device the same way. In case of unsteady
or irregular operation, it may be necessary to delete data stored by the processor, reset factory settings. To do so, using a blunt (broken) tooth-pick,
carefully press the concealed
RESET
button located in the
LINE IN
hole. Then switch on the sound box.
● The button does not power off the sound box completely.
● The built-in automatic battery charger remains active while the device is turned off.
● For complete power off - when you are finished using the device - disconnect the charger from the mains power outlet and from the sound box.
VOLUME CONTROL AND FUNCTION SWITCHING
Volume can be controlled by pressing and holding down
the
+ / –
buttons. A voice announcement indicates when the minimum or maximum level is
reached. When shortly pressed, they function as step buttons; controlling various tracks or signal sources.
The signal source to be controlled can be selected by pressing the button:
LINE IN - BT - FM RADIO - USB - LINE IN…
Available multimedia functions are: connection of external devices (LINE IN), microphone connection (MIC-1, MIC-2), wireless BT connection (BT), USB
player, FM radio. The available features may differ when using different signal sources. Functions are not available for a device that is not connected.
For example MP3 playback without connecting a USB storage device.
MAXIMUM VOLUME
Running in is required for all loudspeakers before starting normal use. For the first 30 to 50 hours of operation, the volume should only be operated at 50%!
Higher volume levels may - in some cases - result in distorted, lower sound quality. This may be caused by an excessively high input signal. To avoid
this, reduce the signal level of the external equipment or, if necessary, the main volume (
VOLUME
). The maximum volume of the system is the one that
can still be heard in good quality without distortion.
● Increasing the volume further will not increase the output power and will increase the distortion of the system! This is detrimental to the speakers
and can lead to failure!
● If a microphone is connected, place it as far away from the sound box as possible to avoid excitation! Do not direct the sound box towards the
microphone, as excitation will damage the speakers! When using a microphone, increase the volume carefully, and if you notice any excitation,
immediately rewind the controller. Reposition the sound box, as necessary.
