APPLICATION
The two-way, bass-reflex, multimedia sound box is recommended primarily for home entertainment use. It is compact, easy to carry. The built-in battery
allows operation without mains voltage. You can connect external devices directly, such as a mobile phone, computer, CD/DVD player, musical instrument,
microphone… In addition to the speakers, the unit includes an amplifier and an FM/BT/MP3/WMA/WAV multimedia player. The accessories include a wired
microphone, a remote controller and a USB charging cable. The KARAOKE function has a constant echo and enables mixing with signal sources.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
The battery must be charged before first use. Connect the supplied charging cable to the sound box (
DC 5V, microUSB
), and the other end to a USB power
supply. This can be a USB mains or car charger, a “power bank”, or a USB socket on your computer. Recommended mains charger option: SA 24USB.
Leave the sound box switched off. In charging mode, an
LED
illuminates next to the charging socket. It turns off when automatic charging is complete.
Disconnect the charging cable then, or in no more than 6 hours from the sound box and the charger and start using the appliance. When the battery is fully
discharged, the charging time is approximately 4.5 hours. The fully charged built-in battery offers about 13 hours of operation at medium volume. This also
depends on the volume set, the mode selected and the ambient temperature. This was tested by listening to the radio at room temperature with the LEDs
switched off.
● It is basically not recommended to charge the unit during use. This will increase charging time and may cause additional noise and overheating. The
radio reception quality may also deteriorate. This device is intended for use with battery power.
● When you finish charging or use, turn the unit off with the -OFF ON+ knob on top of the sound box and unplug the charging cable.
● This product is designed to run from battery power, you are recommended to recharge it immediately after use.
● When the device is switched off, the automatic battery charger still works. Therefore, disconnect the charging cable when charging is complete.
● To increase lifetime, keep the battery charged when the unit is out of use.
● The battery used is of lithium-ion type. It requires no maintenance. At the end of its service life, it can be replaced after removing the back panel. The
cover is secured by screws.
PUTTING INTO USE
Make sure that the unit is disconnected from the mains when making connections. Switch off both the sound box and the device to be connected. Make sure
that the connectors have correct wiring and polarity. Keep the microphone cable and the audio cable away from power cords.
Turn the unit on with the
-OFF ON+
knob on the control panel, and
BT
mode will be activated. If you have a USB or microSD device inserted, it will start
playing. If you previously switched it off using the remote controller, you can use it to switch it back on. If you turned the unit off using the knob on top of the
sound box
OFF
, you can turn it on with the knob only.
● Neither the remote controller nor the on/off switch on the unit will completely de-energize the sound box.
● When the unit is switched off, the built-in automatic battery charger still remains active if you connect the charging cable.
VOLUME CONTROL AND FUNCTION SWITCHING
The volume can be adjusted using either the
-OFF ON+
knob or the
VOL+ / VOL-
buttons on the remote controller. The two control options affect each other.
When the volume is set using the remote controller, turning the knob will activate the volume set last with it. This can result in an unexpected volume change.
The desired function can be selected by repeatedly pressing the
MODE
button (briefly on the unit but long, for 2s on the remote controller):

Available multimedia functions: connection of an external device (AUX), microphone connection (MIC), wireless BT connection (BT), USB/microSD MP3
player. The available services may vary depending on the signal source used. Function associated with non connected devices are not available. For
example, MP3 mode is unavailable when no USB or microSD storage device is connected, and AUX mode is unavailable without connecting an AUX cable.
The AUX mode is activated when a plug of 3.5mm diameter (optional) is inserted and the message LINE is displayed.
