voltage may result in measurement errors, electric
shock, or even injury.
• Keep your fingers away from the connecting sock
-
ets.
• Do not use the multimeter in the presence of flam
-
mable gas, vapours or dust.
• Before each use, check the unit in order to ensure
proper operation (e.g., using a known voltage source).
• When performing CAT II and CAT III voltage mea
-
surements, the voltage may not exceed 600 V, re
-
spectively.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This instrument features a 3½ digit, 7-segment dis
-
play. It can be used to measure direct current, alter
-
nating current, DC voltage, AC voltage, resistance,
frequency, diodes and interruption. Capable of saving
the maximum value measured, has background illu
-
mination, and automatically switches measurement
ranges. The reading can be saved on the display.
Switches off automatically.

PUSHBUTTONS
FUNC
If more than one secondary function is avail
-
able at any given dial setting, this pushbutton
can be used to toggle them. Each push of the
button shifts to the next function.
MAX
Pressing this button will store the highest value
measured during measurement on the display.
This is also indicated by a
MAX
symbol. Pressing
the button again will clear all data, and the mul
-
timeter will exit the function. Note: The actual
value is not the peak value.
HOLD
Pressing this button will store the measured
reading on the display. Pressing the button
again or changing functions will cause the in
-
strument to clear the data.
Backlight: Keep the button pressed for 1 second.
Input sockets
COM
Common (COM) socket for all quantities to
be measured (negative) voltage, resistance,
current, frequency,
VΩ Hz
mAμA
and diode tester input (positive)
10A Current (200 mA - 10 A) input (positive)
FEATURES
Battery saver function
In order to conserve power, the multimeter automati
-
cally switches off after approx. 15 minutes if no mea
-
surement is performed or function is changed. This is
indicated by 5 short beeps 1 minute before switching
off then the unit switches off with a beep.
DC voltage measurement
(
V
)
Connect the red probe cable to the
VΩ Hz
mAμA
socket,
and the black one to the “COM” socket. Set the dial to
the DC voltage position. Connect the measurement
probes to the circuit to be measured.
Note:
The reading can be unstable, especially in the
200 mV measurement range, if the probe cable is not
connected to the circuit being measured.
