Setting the end limits
5.4.
The end limit setting depends on the type of awning.
Setting for vertical awnings without upper stop, and lateral arm-mounted
5.4.1.

For vertical awnings without upper stop, or lateral arm-mounted awnings without head
rail, the upper and lower end limits must be set.

The awning makes a brief movement
The end limits are set and no io control point
has been programmed. Go to the section

The awning does not move
Press the Up or Down button, and follow procedure
«b1» or «b2» according to the awning’s reaction.

The end limits are not set and no io control point

Press the Up and Down buttons simultaneously: the awning will make a brief movement; the Somfy

io local control point has been pre-programmed into the
motor.
Checking the motor’s direction of rotation
5.3.
1) Press the Up button on the Somfy io local control point:
a) If the awning is raised, the direction of rotation is
correct: go to the section «
Setting the end limits
».
b) if the awning is lowered, the direction of rotation is
incorrect: press the «my» button until the awning moves;
the direction of rotation has been modified.
2) Press the Up button to check the direction of rotation.
