Application
KEASY L /KEASY XL
Can be used for:
– Swing doors
– Ceiling sectional doors (sectional door mounting required, see “Accessories”)
– Wing doors (wing door mounting required, see “Accessories”)
In addition, the direction of movement of the opener must be changed. You can obtain the
required information from your dealer or your nearest contractual customer service.

KEASY XL
Can be used for:
– Up-and-over doors (lifting arm required, see “Accessories”).
– Side sectional doors (mounting required).
Maximum garage door dimensions
Lintel and ceiling stability of the garage
Minimum load carrying capacity of lintel and ceiling:
– KEASY
L
: 700 N
– KEASY XL : 900 N
Note ceiling thickness when drilling (e.g. concrete ceilings on prefabricated garages)!
Required drill hole depth for the supplied wall plugs and screws: 53 mm
Delivery includes standard proprietary wall plugs. If required, use special wall plugs which are suitable
for the sub-base.
Existing door mechanism
Can the garage door be opened and closed easily by hand without it sticking? If not, have the door
mechanism repaired by a garage door technician.
If the garage door rails have been reinforced by a cross-connector, the guide arm of the garage door
opener may strike this cross-connector. In such cases this cross-connector can be cut through and
partially removed, see diagram. To restore the stability, attach the remaining pieces of the cross-
connector to the ceiling.
Mains connection
Is there a 230 V mains connection at the required distance from the door opener?
– Length of the mains cable: approx. 1 m
If not, have the mains connection installed by an electrician.
