Replacing the battery on the handheld transmitter
Caution!
Risk due to improper replacement of the battery. Replace with the same type of battery only.
Use leakproof batteries.
Environmental hazard caused by used batteries!
Do not throw used batteries into the household waste. Dispose of used batteries in an environmentally
manner. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Replace used battery with a new battery.
– Type of battery: L1028/12 V
Replacing the bulb
Risk of electric shock!
Before replacing the bulb, pull out the mains plug.
• Remove the cover from the opener light.
• Replace the bulb with a new one (max. 40 W, bulb holder E14).
• Attach and engage the cover.
• Insert the mains plug.
Conducting a regular performance test
Warning!
While repairing or adjusting the door mechanism, do not use the equipment, as a fault in the equipment
or an incorrectly balanced door ay cause injuries.
• Conduct the following performance tests once a month:
– Obstacle detector (see “Switching on the garage door opener” chapter)
– Function of all additionally installed accessories (in particular safety devices)
• Check all the equipment (door and opener) for mechanical function (in particular worn and damaged
springs and fixtures) as well as the electrical installation.
What happens if the power supply was interrupted?
– Opener light comes on for 1 second when the power supply is restored.
– When the next control impulse is emitted, the garage door moves up to the upper mechanical
end stop (reference point) and then back to the programmed upper stop position.
– If the opener light then switches on permanently, restart the garage door opener.
