3-‐in-‐1   Handlebar

The   Solowheel   Scorpion   has   a   3-‐in-‐1   handlebar   that   acts   as   a   carrying   handle,   a   walking   handle   and   a   stand.

Carrying   Handle/Riding   Position

The   Solowheel   handle   is   in   carrying/riding   position   when   it’s   folded   down   and   locked   in   place.   Always   ride   with   the   handle   in   this
position.

Extending   the   Handle

   –

Slide   the   latch   located   near   the   stand   to   unlock   the   handle.   Lift   the   handle   until   it   clicks   into   place.   The

button   at   the   top   of   the   case   near   the   handle   joint   will   pop   out,   indicating   that   the   handle   is   locked   in   the   walking   position.

Retracting   the   Handle

   –

Hold   down   the   button   near   the   handle   joint   (the   button   that   popped   out   when   you   extended   the

handle)   and   fold   the   handle   downward   until   the   latch   clicks   into   place.

Walking   Position

While   the   handle   is   in   walking   position   you   can   use   it   to   push   your   Scorpion   over   the   ground.   The   Scorpion   can   be   pushed   with   the
power   on   or   off.   Keeping   the   power   on   will   make   it   easier   to   control   the   Scorpion   while   you’re   pushing   it.   Standing   still   with   the   power
on   will   use   some   battery   power.   Walking   with   the   Scorpion   can   charge   the   battery,   even   when   the   unit   is   turned   off.

CAUTION:

Do   not   attempt   to   ride   the   Scorpion   while   the   handle   is   extended.

Stand

The   stand   allows   your   Scorpion   to   stand   upright   on   its   own   when   it’s   powered   off.   Tilt   the   Scorpion   backward   so   that   it   rests   on   the
stand.

IMPORTANT:

When   using   the   stand,   be   sure   the   unit   is   balanced   securely   on   the   ground   before   you   let   go.
