Solution
Steam escapes
from the brew-
ing head.
Switch the machine off. Wait 60 minutes
and switch the machine back on. Should
the problem persist, contact the Solis service
center.
The coffee only
comes in drops
from the porta-
filter.
Coffee powder is
ground too finely.
Too much coffee
powder in the filter
insert.
Filter insert is
clogged.
Grind the coffee beans at a coarser grind
size.
Decrease the dosage and use the
RAZOR
dosing instrument.
Use the fine needle in the cleaning tool to
clean the holes. Should the problem persist,
dissolve a SOLITABS cleaning tablet in a glass
of hot water and place the filter insert and
the portafilter in the cleaning solution for
approx. 20 minutes. After that, rinse and dry
carefully.
Coffee flows too
quickly and /
or the pressure
gauge does not
reach the 9 bar
marking.
Coffee powder is
ground too coarsely.
Too little coffee pow-
der in the filter insert.
Coffee powder has
not been tamped
strongly enough.
Grind the coffee beans at a finer grind size.
Increase the dosage and use the
RAZOR
dosing instrument to wipe away excess coffee
powder after tamping.
Press with an even force of 15-20 kg.
Should the above-mentioned solutions not
help, check your machine. Place an empty
DUAL WALL
filter insert in the portafilter
(either for 1 or 2 cups). Press the
MANUAL
button. Should the pressure gauge needle go
above 5 bar, the machine is in order. Always
make sure that the amount of coffee powder
is right, the dosing instrument
RAZOR
can
help you with that. Should the dosage not
be responsible, try a finer grind size. Should
the pressure gauge needle be below 5 bar,
contact the Solis service centre.
The coffee is not

Rinse the cups with hot water under the hot

Hold the milk under the steam wand until the
