1 Introduction
For a safe and damage free transport of SOLARWATT solar panels please follow the
instructions of this manual. For transport damage caused by neglecting the described
packaging rules the sender will be charged.
The packaging material described in this manual, can be obtained from the SOLARWATT sales
department. A reuse of distributed packaging material is possible, presuming the material
shows no damage.
Regarding the packaging of the panels please follow the instructions given in sections 2.1-2.3.
NOTE: Please clearly label the package with a) pictograms, b) a cardboard pyramid stuck on
top to prevent stacking and c) return papers (essential). Information regarding the pictograms,
and the cardboard pyramid are listed below in section 2.
2 Parts List
Palette
Please use the original SOLARWATT palette
adapted to the panel size. Only the original
palette offers sufficient stability and load capacity
for a damage free transport of the panels (e.g.
micro cracking of solar cells).
Corrugated Cardboard Underlayment
Place a corrugated cardboard underlayment flush
to the palette size to avoid any scratching of the
surface of the panel (framing and glass surface),
due to the roughness of the palette material. The
corrugated cardboard should consist of at least 2
layers.
The panel typ can be extracted from
the label on the modul backside.
