damage and missing

Check SOH prior to

remaining capacity is
sufficient to support
mission. Determining end
of life based on
SOH for ESM 2000
will be application
specific.
The ESM 2000 is designed to be capable of not less than two (2) years of warehouse storage,
without any maintenance during storage at a temperature of 72 +5 ºF (22 +5 ºC). However, storage
temperature can vary widely from this relatively mild temperature. Rates of self discharge increase
as temperature increases. If storage temperature is higher than 72 ºF (22 ºC), maintenance charging
intervals must be shortened to less than two (2) years.
Even under ideal conditions (22 ºC) we recommend quarterly SOC checks and charging when
necessary.
