According to Modbus RTU Master definition.

Supported functions:
Read coil status FC1 (No. of Points = Bit)
Read input status FC2 (No. of Points = Bit)
Read multiple register FC3 (No. of Points = Word)
Read input registers FC4 (No. of Points = Word)
Force single coil FC5 (No. of Points – not used = fix 1 Bit)
Preset single register FC6 (No. of Points – not used = fix 1 Word)
Force multiple coils FC15 (No. of Points = Bit)
Preset multiple register FC16 (No. of Points = Word)
Note:
status and coil = 1 Bit, register = 16 Bit.
FC 1 + 2 as well as FC 3 + 4 are principally the same, the only difference is the definition of the
start address.
At FC1 it starts at Null, at FC2 at 10 000.

At FC3 it starts at 40 000, at FC4 at 30 000
