When testing fiber cables, you can decide whether these two parameters are
included in the test by setting a check mark in the
Loss & Length
key. If they
are included in the test, they are displayed in a separate tab in the top bar.

Loss and length are purely informative parameters. If there is no BERT error, the test result is
always a pass. However, the color turns yellow to alert the user to potential faults in the cable, in
case of a too long cable or too high attenuation in the link.

Enter the microscope menu by pressing the
Microscope
button. Do not forget
to plug in the microscope prior to entering the mosaic screen.
