If press and hold the "FUNC." key to turn the meter on, there
will be five short prompt tones from the buzzer, and the
automatic shutdown function is canceled.
7.3. Measurement of AC and DC voltages
1. Turn the knob switch to Hz shift and press
"FUNC."to select DC or AC voltage measurement.
2. Connect the meter probe in parallel to the circuit to
be measured or to the power supply and measure
the voltage.
3. Reads the measurement results from the display.
When measuring DC voltage, the display also shows
the voltage polarity of the measuring point connected
to the red probe.
Warning
Do not input voltages higher than 600 V. It is possible to
display higher voltage values, but there may be a risk of
damaging the meter.
When measuring high voltages, take extra care to avoid
electric shock.
After completing all measurement operations, disconnect the
meter probe from the circuit measured.
