calibrated in 0.001”. One rotation moves the table 0.10”.
Carriage Assembly
The carriage assembly (crossfeed table and saddle) is moved left and right by
the longitudinal handwheel (coarse feed) on the front of the apron or the fine-
feed handwheel on the right end of the leadscrew.
Rotate the handwheel clockwise to move the carriage assembly toward the
tailstock end of the machine and counter-clockwise to move the carriage
assemble toward the headstock end of the machine.
The longitudinal handwheel is always engaged and movement is measured by
the dial behind the handwheel. This feed is typically used for rapid movement
of the carriage assembly.
