arp –s IP address physical address
Example:
arp –s 10.1.5.250 00-20-4a-01-7e-9f
Where: 10.1.5.250 is the IP address to be temporarily assigned, and the
00-20-4a-01-7e-9f is the physical address (See Figure 1 for location) of the NTS module.
3. From a DOS prompt in the c:\windows directory type
telnet 10.1.5.250 1
Connection will fail – click OK.
4. Click on Connect, Remote System, then enter the following parameters
Host: 10.1.5.250
Port: 9999
Term Type:
vt100
Then click “Connect”
The message
“*** Lantronix NTS ***
Serial Number 5021273 MAC address 00:20:4A:50:53:19
Software version 04.52 (011219). . . is displayed
Press <Enter> quickly (within 3 seconds) to enter the setup mode.
The following message is displayed:

5. Basic Configuration –<0 Enter> (Below are the factory settings: user setting may differ)

Netmask: Number of Bits for Host Part (16)
Change telnet config password (N)
6. To exit and save above entries, <9 Enter>
This completes setting of the new IP address, the NTS is now ready for operation.
7. The module is ready to resume normal operation. Re-connect the 10BaseT connection to the system
and resume normal operation. Have a remote operator ping the new address to verify its remote connection.
